Mindsetting

Visual identity and website for MINDSETTING an EFT practitioner, nutritionist and holistic health expert – Mariko Bangerter. The concept explores the “MIND”, as an ever-changing, active and playful entity whilst “SETTING” is still, calm and always typeset at the bottom of the format. The identity elements take inspiration from Japanese traditional design and Swiss-style reflecting Mariko's heritage.

The Swiss photographer Robert Bösch is renowned for the purism of his approach, creating works free from digital alteration or embellishment. However, in Not Seen, he embarks on a new experimental journey, exploring the edges of what is seen and not, what are photographs and not, what is real and not. He has developed this process over several years, returning to these experiments again and again.
 
The design introduces the visual qualities of this new collection on the cover, using edge printing to wrap the book with a stark signature motif. The endpapers are then extended to provide flashes of vivid colour alongside poetic introductory words from Bösch while the flatbook binding displays each image to full and powerful effect. 

The Haptic Way

Haptic Architects marked their tenth birthday with the publication of ‘The Haptic Way, a handbook for practice’.

The content focuses on how the studio practices rather than the projects they make. It is intended as a practical tool — a manual for Hapticians and other young practitioners. Five workshops were hosted to help Haptic articulate approaches to business, design methods, workplace, culture and networks. These provided the focus and foundations for the book's five chapters.

Untitled Practice brings together landscape and architecture design in their works, which are founded in empathic and enabling approaches to city, society and environment.
 
The visual identity and website, combine the optimism of this practice with its fitting initials ‘UP’. The concept celebrates upward movements and arrangements that step and stack this signature acronym alongside key declarations—this communicates elevating ideas, growing from firm beliefs.
